We just finished an amazing stay at this condo over Spring Break. The condo is in the perfect location to access all of the wonderful things about Breck. We were located right at the base of the Village with immediate access to ski school, the Quicksilver chairlift, great restaurants, and shopping. The condo provided breathtaking views of the mountain and the newly remodeled kitchen provided everything we needed for meal prep. The beds were warm and comfy and the condo was clean and well kept. We will defiantly be back!!
We had 10 friends from Arkansas, Pennsylvania, and Co Springs. We skied Breck for a couple of days, but we mostly enjoyed the company in this beautiful chalet.
Listing description is accurate. Property was clean and well-maintained. Perfect location, easy 3-minute walk to the Quicksilver Super Chair. Heated underground garage. Ski rental and Emergency Clinic are in the same building. Spa/pool in next building, but a 3-minute walk through the garage is easy. Some confusion regarding where to pick up keys, but quickly resolved. We'd love to go back.
This is a great condo for location and we had a great time. I hesitated to write a review because I do not want to sound like it was not a great time. The location is great - easy to lift. It's on the busy side of Qucksilver with the people who drive in with the exception of 1 day where it was 40 min in line, it wasn't bad. The location to main street was perfect. Short walk to all but one of our favorite restaurants. The other night the Village shuttle drove us and picked us up after. Very easy. The condo is on the 2nd floor w/ view of ski school. Great if you have a little one in ski school. But it was fairly loud at about 615 when a delivery or garbage truck backed into the nearby loading dock & again at 720 when they start setting up for ski school. It was pretty hot even with the wall heater off so the window was open & that might not of helped. There was a strong odor when we arrived. Didn't notice if it was nonsmoking when I made the reservation. It was not cigarettes. I would have called if it hadn't gone away by day 2 but we didn't really notice it except when first coming in the first two days. The beds were good, very thick mattresses. Nice but the cleaning service/management company chose to use flat sheets to cover the mattresses which doesn't work w/ thick mattresses so ended up pretty much sleeping on the mattress pad. The sofa bed was comfortable according to my 12 yo but there was a cigarette burn in it. It didn't smell like cigarettes, otherwise I would have called. The bunk bed was nice but didn't have a bunk mattress, also a thick mattress which was at the same level as the bar that keeps you from rolling out. My husband slept there the 1st night to be sure we could reliably tuck our 10 yo in ¬ roll out. One of the nightstands was a TV tray w/ one of the legs broken. It was propped against the wall. Luckily I noticed before it fell over. The lamp was also missing a leg but it was still standing w/o being propped up. The frying pan could be replaced. The condo was mostly updated, the door in the bathroom was showing some moisture but w/o an exhaust fan, not sure how you avoid it. But the outlets need to be replaced. Plugging in the multitude of iPads, computers, phones, etc just about every outlet was loose w/ the plug falling out of the wall if you touched it. None of these things impacted our stay enough that we would not chose to stay again, just a couple minor details that could make it better. Overall nice condo
