We were renting skies and taking lessons on Peak 8 so the location was very convenient. The private hot tub adjacent to the downstairs bedroom, the gas grill on the deck and the fire ring in the back all added to our enjoyment of the condo.
The property was great. When we arrived it was very clean and there were more than enough linens for the bed along with additional pillows, towels, etc. Very close to the bus stop which would take you straight down to 8 or to the top of Peak 9. Would definitely stay at the property again as it had everything we were looking for and more.
Our extended family group fit nicely into this 3BR condo with a small loft outside the master bedroom. The larger basement room has bunk beds and a double bed, which allow our family of four to all use one room while the other 5 members of our party were able to use the other two BRs and the loft so everyone had space. The hot tub was great and we used it everyday after skiing while watching the new snow fall on the pine trees. Convenient walk through Nordic Center parking lot to the shuttle bus pick-up that takes you right up to peak 7, and peak 8 base lodges. Room for one car in garage and one in driveway. The shuttle bus has consistent service to town as well as to the mountain, but having the cars was helpful for groceries and trips to the ski rental shops in town to change out gear during the week. Overall, a very nice property that is well kept and conveniently located given the short walk to the shuttle bus. If you are into cross country skiing you can't beat the location as the Nordic Center is right next door.`
We have been coming to Breckenridge for the Fourth of July for years and have always been in search of the perfect rental property, and this was it! Very clean, everything we needed, plenty of space for a family of four, private hot tub, private fire pit, backs to the forest, in a quiet location, and close to town and peak 8. We loved it and will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your space with us!
Settlement 264 is an excellent property for a trip to Breckenridge. The home is in a great location between town and the ski mountain, and is right on the free shuttle stop by the Breckenridge Nordic Center. It has a comfortable, spacious layout and all the amenities one could ask for. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit are great for evenings at home, the bathrooms are all nice (especially the master), and the kitchen/living area are wonderful for gatherings. The garage fits 1 car, and there is room for 1 more in the driveway. Many hiking trails are withing walking distance of the property, and Main Street is a 2 minute drive downhill. The ski area is a 1 minute drive uphill. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of stuff to get you started, and Pinnacle Lodging (management company) does an excellent job with logistics and any requests. If you are coming to Breckenridge either summer or winter, this is a great choice.
We loved staying here. We had an age range from 3yrs old to 55, and everyone had a great time. The location is perfect. Great layout. Just a short walk to the bus which takes you straight to Peak 8. The games provided in the dinning room were lovely. And there is the cutest little sitting window in the loving room! Just a few recommendations... we ended up leaving the sleds we purchased, as we felt the home could have had those on hand for guests to use; the hot-tub is apparently a bit tilted to one side, so water pours over one edge, causing it not to fill properly (the repair person said), which caused us to not be able to use it two nights; the kitchen seems to have been beautifully updated recently and was great, but a few smaller gadgets in the kitchen could use updating. Overall is was such a wonderful house and a great stay for our family.
