Like the title says, this place was reasonably priced & a few minute walk to anything you need at Breck. There was also 48 stairs to the room. Maybe it was the elevation, or that I was carrying at least one kid every time, but those stairs were brutal.
Unit appears much nicer in photos than it actually is. Updates needed, especially both bathtubs, carpeting, all furniture in bedroom loft, very poor lighting in hallway bath, NO lighting in stairway to loft. It would be nice to have at least a set of wineglasses. Upon entry to bldg, the hall/stairway smells like musty old wood. The best amenity of Pine Ridge is it's proximity to town, everything only blocks away.
Growing up in Colorado, my husband and I have a particular fondness for the mountains. We stay in Breckenridge or the vicinity almost every summer. This year, we were fortunate to stay in Pine Ridge 1 F for our glorious 1 week reprieve from Texas Summer heat and reminiscent journey to our home away from home. The condo is spacious and very comfortable for our family of 4 (2adults, 2teen Boys.) it’s the penthouse, so has high ceilings and great views. The upstairs bunk room provided the flexibility to also host the 3 teen cousins (who live nearby) for several nights as well. The layout and furniture is very nice and functional. Beds are quite comfortable. Living room, dining table and kitchen (has all you need) are conducive for family gatherings, as we had in town family over several nights for dinner. There are picnic tables and grills downstairs in the property common areas where the kids could run and play. You can see them from the outdoor patio. There’s a fire pit with Adirondack chairs to sit around and chill. Pit was not functional due to burn ban, but the summer evenings are quite comfortable without it, so we sat around while the kids enjoyed throwing the football or frisbee. The pool is a short walk and wasn’t crowded while we were there. Very nice and bigger than I expected with lots of lounge chairs. There’s an indoor portion of the pool too. Towels are provided by the condo. Best of all for summer visitors, because of the placement of the condo, on certain mornings, you can hear the Breckenridge orchestra practicing and it’s beautiful. The music and arts center is basically across the street from this property so the lovely music carries right to your room. Because of the terrain and being on the top floor, street traffic is NOT noticeable though, except the occasional beeping of a work truck backing up. We highly recommend this condo. It’s exactly as pictured, even better. Our hearts belong in the mountains, so it’s our home away from home.

This is our second time staying at this property. The location is great--you can ski-in off 4 Oclock Run at the end of the day. Very close to Main Street. Condo was clean. Kids love the loft. You do not hear noise from other units in the building. Ski locker on first floor is very convenient.
We have stayed at Pine Ridge for the last 3 years, but this was our first stay at Pine Ridge 1F. We really enjoyed our stay! It is in the perfect location to walk to main street, or hop on the bus to get around quicker. It was also nice that Christy's Sports was below the room so that a we could easily get our gear for the mountain. This room is on the top floor however, so be prepared to trek up some stairs. The only negative thing we have to say is the bathrooms (showers more specifically) were a bit outdated and the toilets didn't flush well. The room comes well equipped with all the kitchen necessities (coffee pot, pots & pans) All in all we had a great stay and have already said we would love to book it again for next year!
This condo couldn't be more convenient to town. You are just one or two minutes walk away from the park, as well as everything else you want to do in town. The only down side, is the 6 sets of stairs to get to the top level where it is located.
The apartment is very clean and cosy. It is a very short walk to the Main Street, which is very convenient. You can also hop straight onto the 4 O'clock trail from the back of the condos. The only negative is that in the summer, you have to have windows open to keep it cool and that lets the noise in - at the weekends, there are drunk people making quite a racket! The upstairs room is cool for kids and the option of using the hot tubs on-site or the pool at upper village is nice. Would stay here again, but maybe in winter next time!
