Great stay! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood very well maintained. The house was roomie and had everything we needed. The master bed is very, very firm :/ not the most comfy. And we wished there had been a table and chairs on deck facing mountains to enjoy meals together outside. Wonderful family friendly home , would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful time, clean property, very responsive management company. Totally recommend!
Our large group loved Highland House. It was large enough to spread out with everyone having a private bath. The kitchen was well-appointed and cooking was an easy, fun experience. The two roomy living areas gave everyone space as well as decks and balconies. Great experience and view!!
This home exceeded my expectations. The rooms are great for all size groups and the two living spaces (upstairs and downstairs) is great! I loved the big kitchen table to have a group of 12 sitting around one table for dinner. You will not be disappointed in renting this house! The jacuzzi outside is awesome also! We loved our stay here!! It was clean and well maintained.Manager Response The home is great for big groups to all have room to visit! The private hot tub makes for relaxing evenings as well. Our family of 5 spent 4 wonderful nights at this great 'Colorado Mountainhouse' in Breckenridge. Ample room with with a variety of different rooms to gather in. A short easy drive from this beautiful neighborhood to downtown Breck. Fun mountainbike trails right outside the back door. Starry nights in the hot tub. This home is very nice, we had 6 adult and 3 kids but never felt like we was on top of eachother. Very spacious, big bedrooms and hot tub that can fit over 6 people. The pictures posted doesn't do this property and justice, would recommend any large family or group of friends to stay here.
We had 5 adults and 5 kids ages 6-12. Spent 6 nights. House was excellent! As nice or nicer than the pictures and well cared for. Very spacious and comfortable. Nice to be able to park cars (Suburban) in garage. Lot size was nice so there are neighbors, but not too close and didn't see any. Did see a fox playing in area. All sleeping rooms were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms good. Nice they provided basic supplies like soap, trash bags, bathroom TP, soaps/lotions. Plenty of towels. Nice TV's in each room. Good internet service. Fireplaces were hot! and cozy. Great for drying out ski gear. Hot tub was perfect after day of skiing. We highly recommend this house!
Stayed 6 nights with 5 adults and 5 kids age 6-12. Comfortable bedrooms, plenty of privacy and bathrooms. Two living rooms and two eating areas gave everyone space. House is very well taken care of. Appreciated the supplies including soaps, trash bags, TP, kitchen supplies - not always provided. Was nice to be able to park vehicles in garage including 2 full size SUV's. Hot tub was awesome after day of skiing. Fireplaces were HOT, providing nice atmosphere and place to dry gear. Area was nice. Lot has neighbors, but big enough to have privacy. Amazing views coming in and out of neighborhood. Very close to Breckenridge and close enough to Frisco.
This beautiful home is located in a truly quiet neighborhood with plenty of space in and around the home to make you feel peaceful and relaxed. We loved starting the day drinking coffee on the balcony and enjoying the quiet and privacy (expecially in our pajamas)! Although we were just two, a large family or group would be very comfortable here. There are two large bedrooms on the main floor so multiple parent groups could occupy this space and leave the entire lower level bedroom and living space for small kids or teenagers to have their own space. We were close enough to Breckenridge and Frisco, so the mountains, rentals, resturants, groceries were very convenient. We highly recommend renting bikes in Frisco, taking the shuttle to Vail and riding back down. The scenery was amazing and the ride was easy (mostly all downhill). We even stopped onteh way in Copper Mountain, took the lift up, hiked down and the enjoyed some amazing Mahi tacos in town! The house is well maintained and managed and the appliances are all high end which makes cooking and washing easy. And the hot tub in the back yard provides a great way to end a biking/hiking day. Sitting in it watching the sun go down through the trees in this quiet backyard was heavenly. We would visit again and highly recommend this home!
