Duncan Hill was an amazing home that exceeded our expectations. The home was beautiful with wonderful amenities. The view was spectacular starting with the sunrise in the morning and lasted throughout the day. Relaxing in the hot-tub overlooking the mountains was breath-taking. Perfect for a big family or a large group of friends.
What an amazing house. Great for groups of adults or for a family/families. My trip consisted of 5 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and yet plenty of room for alone time. Unbelievable views from all areas of the house. Large kitchen with everything you need for breakfast, lunch and dinner. New gas Weber grill and appliances were outstanding. Mattress were very comfortable and allowed for a great nights rest. Easy 10 minute car ride to downtown Breckenridge or 1 block walk to the free shuttle. Plenty to do whether you stay in the house or go out on the town. We will be going back to this house

Everything was as the picture had shown on the web site. However, the main window needed to be replaced in order to enjoy the full view of the mountain. There were other windows also that had moisture and needed to be replaced. The cleaning was done very poorly. Without a/c, we needed to use the ceiling fan in the main family room but it was very dirty. The cob webs had not been removed from the wreath on the fire place. One frying pan was put away but it still had something on it from previous cooking. Nothing is mentioned in any document about the towels. We kept them clean but wondered if they had been commercially cleaned prior to our arrival. Breckenridge is very fun place to be and we enjoyed our vacation a lot. As previously stated, the views from our home away from home were awesome! We look forward to another visit to the Breckenridge area. We do apologize for the cleaning items including the cob webs on the wreath and dust built up on the ceiling fan. It only takes a couple of days to gather! All of the linens in the home are cleaned commercially in between all guests. We are happy to report that since your stay, all of the windows with moisture in them have been replaced so that the incredible views are no longer impeded. Additionally, the home has all new kitchen appliances to enhance the home away from home experience. We hope to see you again soon!
Beautiful home with plenty of room for our entire group! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. The beds were actually very comfortable (which is a huge plus when you're on vacation). The property was very clean and there were no issues with things not working properly. I would definitely follow the 4 wheel drive suggestion, as the driveway is pretty steep and icy, but manageable with a 4x4. The short walk to the free shuttle stop made getting around town really easy. We all loved this property, and the stunning views around it. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
It was a beautiful house and was perfect for our weekend! Plenty of space, the views were amazing, and it was in the perfect location, accessible to everything Breckenridge had to offer! Our only complaint with the home was that a few of the appliances and kitchenware were dated and not functioning. We HIGHLY recommend this property!
The only problem with this property is that we couldn't stay longer! I was a little leary because i like to rent directly from owners, but the agency was so responsive and friendly, i may have to rethink my logic. The home was roomy and cozy. The Jacuzzi was brand spankin new and i think the only thing that could be improved was that the kitchen was a little on the small side. We spent so much time with activities in Breck that it wasn't an issue. Breckenridge is a lot of fun and there was a 2-3 mile walking/jogging trail right outside the home which was great for walks after dinner. We did have a slight shower issue, but the agency responded same day. Highly recommend!
The house was great for our family of 12. We loved the view, deck and hot tub. The kitchen and dining area were great. Kitchen needs a large soup/pasta pot but otherwise was adequately equipped. We seated entire family for meals. Bedrooms comfortable and bathrooms great. Great bunk room for 4-6 kids. Right on a hiking trail and close to Breckinridge. Two TV viewing areas with nice Sonos system and DVD collection, pool/ping pong table all made for good entertainment. Heated two car garage with additional parking in driveway. There was a heated boot rack for winter. The only negative is the water. It tastes and smells like iron. Bring bottled water. Filtered water from refrigerator was fine. Also it stained some of our lighter colored clothes and swimsuits orange in spots. A filter needs to be added to the house to remove the metals. We would definitely stay here again but bring old swimsuits and don't wash light colored clothes till you get home. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful home and a great vacation for all ages!
Our family group of 14 found the house to be just what was advertised. We had plenty of room for all of us. The view from the main level is fantastic. You can sit on the deck and watch as the ssun begins to hit the mountain side to the southwest. Some type of window blind would be nice in the livng area as when we stat down for supper half of those a tht etable were being blinded by the sun as it iwas setting. THe kitchen was large enough, but it didn't have the type of appliances that we are used to having, in particular there wasn't a griddle for making pancakes or frying bacon. Also, there was not nearly enough kitchen towels or dish cloths. We had to wash kitchen towels and cloths daily as there were only 2 cloths and 4 towels. Everything as very clean and there were plenty of both bath and hot tub towels. There was plenty of sitting for everyone in the main living area. The master bedroom and bath were wonderful. We loved the layout of the house, for even though it was summer we could see that the entry from the garage to the bench and adjacent boot storage area would be great during the ski season.
Loved the virtual check in process, saves a ton of time being able to go directly to our rental. Would add instructions on how to operate the thermostat (nest) and quick oven/microwave. Hot tub needs a little cleaning (the water was perfect, the tub walls need some cleaning). Ser ice was excelent plenty of towels, linens, huge house. Excelent quality of appliances and furniture.
