Beautiful home!

A wonderful place! Home had everything we needed, was well kept and comfortable. A slightly farther walk from the gondola than expected for kids, but was fine for adults. Would go back in the future.

Layout of the home and location were great, maintenance lacking.

Grill was rusted and falling apart, rental company replaced it. Master shower head was leaving a trickle of water, and they replaced that. Dishwasher needed a set of wheels replaced, so the dish tray could be pulled out. That was done. The large hunter douglas blind in the master didn't work, making it difficult to open to use the fan, necessary in the summer.....I was holding it up with chip clips......that was finally fixed. after several weeks. Fourth burner on the stove didn't work. Cutlery lacking--there were only 6 forks, and 4 butter knives...the rest was OK. The furniture needs a good steam cleaning and the floors were encrusted with old dirt.....the grout in the kitchen was black. Small rugs throughout the home (the only rugs) had no pads under them, making them a bunching and tripping hazard. No vacuum available when we got there, but rental company brought one. One broken spatula to use, and one broken dustpan.......(I bought my own). No slow cooker and fry pans non stick ability no longer working. I bought my own extra large fry pan with lid to make do. BUT, despite all these frustrations, it could be a really great place. Just needs some TLC. The gondola location is fabulous and the duplex in a pretty setting with lots of neighborhood walking paths through the woods and cross country ski in the winter. We had a good time after everything was fixed. We were there for 2 months. Conclusion: clean the floors and furniture and stock a better kitchen.Manager Response Thank you very much for all of your feedback, we definitely appreciate all of the suggestions made, and hopefully they will enhance the stay for future guests. Great location close to gondola.

The master shower is bad. We ended having to go to bottom floor to shower. The den furniture is worn but overall a nice property. We loved the location and the nice trails for walking

Beautiful house, Perfect location for eveyone in the family!

We loved our stay during our August summer vacation! The house was lovely - great, well-equipped kitchen and living/dining with enough room for everyone to relax or help cook, great master suites both upstairs and down, with two more large bedrooms as well. We enjoyed the mountain and wild flower views from the deck, as well as the awesome hot tub. For those in our group who did not want to hike the numerous close by gorgeous mountain trails, the gondola down to town or up the mountain was just a one minute's walk up the hill, and the free Breckenridge bus was another couple minutes away, with late evening service to come back to the house after an evening out. So, our group could go in a few different directions without having to worry about leaving anyone stranded. The manager checked in with us a few times during our stay, but we lacked for nothing. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, average accomodations

Cucumber Patch provides an excellent location to the gondola, town and the ski hills, however, the house was disappointing. The master bathroom shower was absolutely the worst shower I had ever used. There was no water pressure for the shower. We called maintenance and they responded quickly and professionally but did not fix the problem because we were told the owner hadn't authorized a new shower head, which would have fixed the problem. The shower head remained essentially unusable during our entire 9 day stay. Additionally, the kitchen was sparsely equipped for cooking, especially for a family. Very few utensils and necessary items. The grill was very dirty and was difficult to ignite. The house was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was great!

Great place to stay. We loved it.

We have stayed in a lot of places in Breckenridge and this has to be one of our favorites. Everything was new and clean and it was fun for a group to all be together. The only problem was that the hot tub must've been overlooked because it was cloudy and unusable. Everything else is great the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We especially like the master suite.

Beautiful property and conveniently located

We stayed at this property over MLK weekend. We loved it! It was spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, cozy, clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies for cooking. The private hot tub was a family favorite and a great way to relax tired muscles after a long day of skiing. The gondola was a convenient walk which provided easy access to the slopes. We also enjoyed the spacious, heated garage. We highly recommend this property and we hope to stay here again. It was truly a "home away from home"!

Cucumber Patch 44 is simply an amazing property!

Cucumber Patch 44 is simply an amazing property near town nestled below one of the Breckenridge Gondola. It has beautiful interior decorating reminiscent of a modern cabin with glistening wood and rock fireplace. It's got plenty of space for large parties and near town so you don't have to go far to get to civilization. Nice two car garage and drive way space could fit up to three cars if needed. I recommend this place and hope to visit again soon!

Ski trip with friends

I had a great stay at this property at the beginning of March and we were fortunate to catch some good snow. It is very easy to get to mountain and downtown via the gondola nearby. We arrived late the first night but the late check in procedure was a breeze. No complaints.
